Deutsche Bahn International Operations

Operations is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn Group — responsible for rail operations, maintenance, and infrastructure projects beyond Europe. As Communication Designer embedded within the DB IO team in Berlin, the role centred on translating complex engineering and operational proposals into clear, compelling design. The primary focus was bid and proposal design for international infrastructure tenders — most notably contributing to the Metro de Quito project, where I worked alongside engineers and business development to produce an extensive technical and operational bid book. Alongside proposal work, I expanded the iconography library to support new communication needs, and developed brand awareness assets used as appendices within technical submissions — bridging corporate identity with the rigour of infrastructure documentation.
